To make two of the songs a bit easyer to beatmix I have created alternate endings for the songs "Unpredictalizer" and "Past be Past". Basically I just added another 16 bars of mere beats in the end.

"Intermezzo Extended" is called that way because it extends the former minialbum "intermezzo" with three more songs. "Intermezzo" was planned as an intermezzo between my second album "Gfuehlsweid" and my "third" album. Once it was finished I worked on three more songs which I felt wouldn't fit on my "third" album since they didn't fit the concept. So what to do with the three additional songs? I decided to add them to the intermezzo minialbum in order to extend it to a full album. Intermezzo Extended therefore has become my third album. It is still connected to my older music but also contains elements from my development yet to come in my fourth album.

When it comes to the songs I have to admit I didn't have a driving concept behind "Intermezzo". Nevertheless there is a common denominator in all the songs: Liberation.

Intermezzo Extended is the first SubConsciousMind album that has been created with computer based software. Before that I worked with hardware equipment only.

Of course the use of a sequenzer/multitrack software like Cubase 4 enabled me to go far more into detail when it comes to arrangement and production.
